Parker Pond in Casco is one of the most peaceful and quite lakes in the area. This 167 acre pond has a mean depth of 10′ and a max depth of 19′. The water quality is rated above average by the Maine Department of Environmental Protection. The pond is so peaceful it is home to several loons and other wild life.
Parker Pond is well known for its excellent fishing of small and large mouth bass. It is also a favored place for ice fishing as the pond is stock with brook trout by the State of Maine. Being connected to Pleasant Lake by a small waterway, occasionally a land locked salmon will make its way to the pond to be caught.
Parker Pond has a boat launch at the northern end of the pond. Although it does not have a town beach, there is the town beach on Pleasant Lake ½ mile away that is there for your enjoyment. On Parker Pond you will also find a small island that children and adults love to park their boats on and explore.
Parker Pond is located off route 121 and has two scenic overlooks on it. It is less than 10 minutes to Route 302 and the center of Naples with all its restaurants and summer activates.
