Adams Pond, Bridgton

Adams Pond is Bridgton’s hidden gem and home to Camp Pondicherry. The pond is 43 acres with a mean depth of 20′ and a max depth of 51′. The water quality is rated above average by the Maine Department of Environmental Protection.

Adams Pond is best suited for rowboats, canoes and kayaks. No boat may have motor larger then 10Hp. There is no boat launch; it is Carry- in access only.

Swimming and fishing are a highlight of the pond. Principal fish in the pond are largemouth bass, smallmouth bass, white perch and brook trout. Brook trout are annual stock. A few trout in the 2 pound range are caught ever year. Ice fishing on the pond is prohibited.

Adams Pond and its quiet location is approximately 10 minutes from the center of Bridgton where you will find restaurants, shopping, a movie theater and much more.
