I moved to Maine from the Florida Keys in the early 80s and never left. Living up here reminds me of where I grew up in upstate NY. I love to garden/landscape, fly fish, kayak, scuba, snowshoe/ski, play with my pets, and hiking. Just about any activity that gets me outdoors, and Maine has it all! Relaxing on my deck from my 1820's farmhouse watching the sunset over Mt Washington is about good as life gets for me. I initially got into real estate as a result of buying my first house. I didn't fully understand that the agent who was showing me properties wasn't acting in my best interests. I guess we learn from our mistakes, but it prompted me to want to obtain my brokers license and learn more about how real estate works. The industry has changed a great deal since when I first got my license, and I'm continually taking courses to keep up with those changes. But I have always enjoyed working with others to fulfill their dreams. Coming to work at Maine Real Estate Choice has been sort of a homecoming and given me a sense of coming full circle in real estate.
