Adams Pond
Adams Pond is Bridgton’s hidden gem and home to Camp Pondicherry. The pond is 43 acres with a mean depth of 20′ and a max depth of 51′.
Bear Pond
Bear Pond in Waterford is the town’s deepest lake. While only 250 acres in surface area and four miles in circumference, Bear Pond is 72 feet deep.
Brandy Pond
Brandy Pond in Naples, also known as the Bay of Naples, is 740 acres in size, about a mile or two long by a mile or two wide, has a maximum depth of 44 feet.
Coffee Pond
Coffee Pond in Casco is remarkable for two things. One is that it so deep for a pond so small. It has a surface area of 106 acres, but has a maximum depth of 70 feet.
Crescent Lake
Crescent Lake is situated mostly in the town of Raymond. Only its very northernmost end is in Casco. At 2.5 miles long and a half mile wide, Crescent Lake is large enough for all recreational activities.
Crystal Lake
Crystal Lake in Harrison is one of the most popular spots in the area because of its wonderful sandy public beach, convenient boat launch, and welcoming picnic area.
Hancock Pond
Hancock Pond has a surface area of 761 acres, a maximum depth of 59 feet, a mean depth of 17 feet, and a water quality rating from the Maine Department of Environmental Protection of “above average”.
Highland (Duck) Lake, Windham
With its location less than 12 miles from Maine’s largest community, this beautiful lake is a rare gem and a great destination for those looking to “get away” without being too far away!
Highland Lake, Bridgton
Originally called Crotched Pond, Highland Lake in Bridgton stretches from downtown Bridgton in the south up to the edge of the town of Sweden to the north.
Hogan Pond
Hogan Pond is located in Oxford, one of eight towns nestled in the beautiful Western Foothills of Maine known as Oxford Hills.
Island Pond
Island Pond is a 115 acre body of water that hugs the borders of Harrison and Waterford. The pond is located next to Temple Hill, (off Route 117), and drains to Crooked River.
Keewaydin Lake
Picturesque Keewaydin Lake is a reservoir located in Stoneham, Maine in Oxford County and is 9.6 miles from the town of Lovell, Maine.
Keoka Lake
Keoka Lake in Waterford is 462 acres in size, has a maximum depth of 42 feet, and has a water quality rating of “slightly above average”.
Kezar Lake
Located in Lovell Twp., Oxford Co. There are two boat launching areas available on Kezar Lake, one on the North Lovell end and one at the “Narrows”.
Little Sebago Lake
Little Sebago Lake is located in the towns of Windham and Gray, is about six miles long and a mile wide, and has a water quality rating that ranges from “average” to “above average”.
Long Lake
Bordered by the picturesque western Maine towns of Naples, Bridgton and Harrison, Long Lake is considered one of the premier recreational lakes in all of Maine.
Lovewell Pond
Lovewell Pond in Fryeburg is located south of Rte. 302 and east of Rte 113. It covers 1129 acres in surface area, has a maximum depth of 45 feet, and a mean depth of 17 feet.
Lower Range Pond
Lower Range Pond is 270 acres in surface area, has a maximum depth of 41 feet, and also has a water quality rating of “above average”. It is the location of the Range Ponds State Park.
McWain (Long) Pond
McWain Pond in Waterford is about two miles long by a half mile wide, covers 445 acres in surface area, and is nearly five miles around its perimeter.
Middle Range Pond
Middle Range Pond is 382 acres in size, has a maximum depth of 66 feet, and is “above average” in water quality.
Moose Pond
Moose Pond in West Bridgton stretches seven miles from its wilder reaches in its north end in Sweden to its shallower, more placid south end in Denmark.
North Pond
North Pond, located in North Norway, is well-populated with camps and cabins on the south end, but also has its wild side.
Panther Pond
Nestled at the foot of Tarklin Hill and Route 85 on its east side and Route 121 following near its west shore, Panther Pond in Raymond has a beautiful setting that is both accessible, but private.
Parker Pond
Parker Pond in Casco is one of the most peaceful and quite lakes in the area. This 167 acre pond has a mean depth of 10′ and a max depth of 19′.
Peabody Pond
Peabody Pond is located in the towns of Bridgton and Sebago. It measures 740 acres in size, has a maximum depth of 64 feet, a mean depth of 32 feet, and measures 8.2 miles around its perimeter.
Pennesseewassee Lake
Lake Pennesseewassee in Norway, also known as Norway Lake, is about five miles long and a half mile wide, covers 987 acres in surface area, and measures nearly 12 miles around its perimeter.
Pettingill Pond
Pettingill Pond in Windham is 43 acres in size with a perimeter of 1.9 miles and a maximum depth of 29 feet. This small pond is located in a populated area and the pond itself is heavily developed.
Pleasant Lake
Pleasant Lake in Casco and Otisfield is aptly named. Four miles long and a mile wide, this 1,332 acre lake has a maximum depth of 62 feet, a mean depth of 29 feet, and water quality rating of “excellent”.
Raymond Pond
Raymond Pond in Raymond is a relatively small body of water measuring about a mile long by a half mile wide. Its surface area covers 344 acres and its maximum depth is 42 feet.
Sabbathday Lake
Sabbathday Lake consists of 342 acres with the perimeter measuring 5 miles and a maximum depth of 68 feet. It is located 30 miles from Portland
Sand (Walden) Pond
Sand Pond in Denmark was originally called Little Hancock Pond, in deference to its neighbor, and is also called Walden Pond, after the girl’s camp located there since 1916.
Sand Pond
Sand Pond in Norway is tucked out of the way off a country road and offers privacy, scenery, and solitude. While Sand Pond is relatively small in size, measuring 136 acres, it has a significant depth at 56 feet.
Saturday Pond
Saturday Pond in Otisfield is a small jewel of a pond tucked away at the foot of several hills in Otisfield. The pond covers 179 acres in surface area, and has a maximum depth of 25 feet.
Sebago Lake
Sebago Lake is the crown jewel of our lakes region area. Known far and wide for its size, depth and cleanliness, Sebago Lake is the reason many visitors come here in the first place and is often the reason they keep coming back year after year after year.
Thomas Pond
Thomas Pond in Casco is located just off of Route 302 on the Casco/Raymond line. You can see a cove area from the road, but almost all of the pond is out of sight of the road.
Thompson Lake
Thompson Lake is eight miles long, nearly two miles wide, and covers an area of 4,419 acres. Its maximum depth is 121 feet, its mean depth is 35 feet, and its water quality is rated as “excellent”.
Trickey Pond
Trickey Pond in Naples is about a mile and a half long and a half mile wide and covers 315 acres in surface area. It is 4.8 miles around its perimeter, has a maximum depth of 57 feet, and has a water quality rating of “excellent”.
Tripp Lake
Tripp Lake in Poland covers 735 acres in surface area, is almost eight miles around its shoreline, and has a maximum depth of 35 feet.
Upper Range Pond
Upper Range Pond is 357 acres in size, has a maximum depth of 38 feet and a water quality rating of “above average”.
Watchic Lake
Located in the Town of Standish, Watchic Lake is 448 acres, being 3/4 mile wide and 1½ miles long, and a maximum depth of 41 feet. The lake is spring fed and it empties into the Saco River at the dam end of the lake.
Whitney Pond
Whitney Pond is located in Oxford. The pond is small, 167 acres and only 4 miles around the perimeter with a maximum depth of only 24 feet.
Woods Pond
Woods Pond in Bridgton is a 462 acre body of water that’s two miles long and just under a half mile wide. The distance around its shoreline measures five miles and it has a maximum depth of 29 feet.
